Me and Politics!
I have a BA(Hons) in Politics and my dad is the Labour Leader of Ealing Council.
London Marathon Run Times
Thought I'd let you know my run times. London Marathon 2002 - 4hrs 22mins. And my 5 Great North Run times are 2hrs 10mins, 2hrs, hr1.52mins, hr1 42mins and 1hr 50mins. Would love to do it in 1hr 35mins but would have to train really hard!
My First Jobs...
my past jobs have been varied. They include a paper round, working at
McDonalds (I didn't get any stars!) and temporary secretarial workat Reuters and
Texaco.
Singing
I used to play the piano and cello and was also in a Madrigal Choir that sang yearly in St Paul's Cathedral. I also travelled around Europe with the choir and had the opportunity to sing at the Gaudi Catheral in Barcelona, St Peters in Rome and Schonbrun Palace in Austria.
School
I was Deputy-Head Girl at my school, and I'm now a School Governor at the same school.
In The Pool?
I am the worst swimmer and hate being out of my depth. My other half is giving me swimming lessons in time for the new arrival. I would love to take
part in a tri-athalon but clearly I'd need to improvemy swimming first or get
Michael to complete that section!
My Dad
My dad was in the RAF and served his 22 years. He loved it and I'm really proud of this. I'm about to start finding out more information about his career as he sadly passed away in 2006. I'm going to start finding out.............
Ambitions
I like setting goals and hopefully will climb Mont Blanc next year with my friend Olympic Gold Medallist Amy Williams who I met on 71 Degrees North.
First Baby On The Way
I am expecting my first child in December and am really excited and getting bigger!
